英国人アーティストとBST生徒による共同作品が六本木ヒルズで、公開！
数々の賞を受賞し、高い評価を得る英国人アーティスト、モラグ・マイヤーズコフにとって日本で初のインスタレーション作品となる「CLEAN POWER」は、彼女の作品の特徴である大胆でカラフルなスタイルが溢れる、人々の目を引く作品です。彼女の作品にインスピレーションを受けたBSTのアートを学ぶYear 9生徒たち、彼らが制作した作品とともに一つのインスタレーションとして展示されます。作品は2023年1月31日～2月27日まで、六本木ヒルズ ウェストウォーク 2F 南側吹抜けエリアに展示されます。
INSPIRING SCULPTURE BY UK ARTIST & BST STUDENTS DEBUTS IN JAPAN
Morag Myerscough, the award-winning and acclaimed British artist, will be exhibiting in Japan for the first time. The artwork ‘CLEAN POWER’ is an eye-catching sculpture bursting with Myerscough’s signature bold and colourful style, and will be showcased together with Myerscough-inspired artwork, by BST art students.
The British School in Tokyo opens new Senior School Study Centre
The British School in Tokyo (BST) opens its new Senior School Study Centre for Year 12 and Year 13 students. The new multipurpose space will provide an enhanced learning environment for BST’s senior students as they prepare for transition to university and life beyond BST.
The British School in Tokyo (BST) starts the ‘Exchange Month’ project with Showa Junior-Senior High School and Showa Elementary School in June. BST has shared the campus with Showa schools since 2006, and this is the first time that the three schools collaborate on such an intensive exchange project in one month.
